Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 July 2026

This policy explains what personal information Kiki Pilates (“we”) collects at pilateswithkiki.com, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run the studio, and we never sell your personal information.

Information we collect

When you contact us — your name, email and message. When you book (intake form via Jotform) — your name, date of birth, phone, email, emergency contact, and the health information you provide: activity level, goals, medical conditions, injuries, medications, and pregnancy or postpartum status — plus your electronic signature. When you browse the site — standard usage data such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and cookie identifiers used for analytics and advertising (see Cookies below).

How we use it

We use your information to reply to you; to schedule your sessions and teach them safely; to keep the intake and waiver records a studio is expected to hold; and to measure and improve the website and our advertising. We do not use your health information for advertising or marketing, and we do not sell or share it.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We use a few trusted service providers to run the site and forms, and share only what each needs to do its job. Each keeps its own privacy policy:

Cookies & advertising

The site uses the Google tag (for Google Ads conversion measurement and Google Analytics) and Vercel Web Analytics. These set first- and third-party cookies or similar identifiers to measure visits and ad performance, and third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your past visits to this and other websites. You can opt out using the tools below, or by managing cookies in your browser.

How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet record-keeping and legal needs — for example, keeping your signed waiver and intake while you're a client and for a reasonable period afterward. Analytics and advertising data are retained per Google's and Vercel's standard periods.

Your choices & rights

You can ask us to see, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you — just email kiki@pilateswithkiki.com and we'll respond. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA — to know, delete, and correct their information, to opt out of any sale or sharing, and to limit the use of sensitive information. We honor these requests and won't treat you differently for making them, and we respect browser opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control where they apply.

Health data & security

Your health information is sensitive, and we treat it that way: we collect only what we need to keep you safe in session, limit who can see it, use it only for your care, and never for advertising. Kiki Pilates is a fitness studio, not a healthcare provider, and is not a HIPAA-covered entity. We and our providers use reasonable safeguards to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

The site and services are intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. Clients under 18 may take part only with a parent or legal guardian's consent and signature.

Changes & contact

We review this policy at least once a year and post any updates here with a new date. Questions or requests: email kiki@pilateswithkiki.com.
